Plans and what is in each one

Last updated: Aug 24, 2026

Dispatch Bros pricing has two parts: a platform plan (the software — seats, jobs, features, and support tier) and an optional phone plan (voice and messaging — numbers, SMS, and call minutes). You see and manage both on the Billing page, which has four tabs: Overview, Platform, Phone, and History. Prices and limits come from the live plan catalog, so the plan cards and the comparison table always show current numbers.

Before you start

  • Anyone can view the Billing page; subscribing and changing plans is owner/admin only. Non-admins see plan cards without action buttons.
  • On a brand-new account you start on a free trial — the Platform tab shows how many days are left.

Where to see the plans

  1. Open Billing from the sidebar (under your account menu).
  2. Switch to the Platform tab. Every plan card lists its monthly price and full feature list; your plan carries a Current Plan badge and the recommended tier is tagged Most Popular.
  3. During checkout as a new tenant, an optional Add Phone Service section lets you attach a phone plan in the same purchase — or pick No phone plan ("Platform only — add phone later").

What varies between plans

The public pricing page's Compare plans table is driven by the same live catalog. Plans differ on:

  • Plan LimitsTeam seats, SMS per month, Call minutes per month, and Business phone numbers.
  • Dispatch and Operations — job dispatch and scheduling, customer management (CRM), the technician mobile portal, technician location tracking.
  • Billing and Finance — invoicing and estimates, online payments (Stripe), automations, online booking, built-in reports.
  • Integrations and Advanced — QuickBooks Online, custom fields and reports, service areas, subcontractors, leads tracking, performance pay, payroll and time tracking, projects, change orders.
  • Payments Suite — Quick Collect, Payment Requests, Tips.
  • Reviews — On-Site Review QR, Automated Review Requests, Review Analytics.
  • AI (Genius) — Genius Leads (AI) and Genius Scheduling (AI).
  • Support and Onboarding — the Support tier and Onboarding level.

A checkmark means the module is included; a dash means it isn't. When you open a feature your plan doesn't include, the app shows an upgrade card instead — see why a feature shows Upgrade required.

Trials, sales-led tiers, and custom packages

  • Trial — the Platform tab shows a banner with the days left in your free trial and the note "Upgrade anytime to lock in your plan after the trial ends."
  • Sales-led tiers — the largest tier may show Talk to Sales instead of a checkout button; it's set up with our team.
  • Custom packages — if your company was assigned a private package, the Platform tab shows a Custom Package panel with your negotiated seats, jobs, and support. Public plan cards then show Contact support to change instead of upgrade buttons, so you can't accidentally drop custom terms.

Troubleshooting

  • "Unable to load billing data." — a temporary load failure; click Retry or refresh. If it persists, contact support.
  • "Platform plans coming soon" — the plan catalog isn't published to your account yet; check back or contact support.
  • A plan card shows no button, just "Owner / Admin Only" — you're signed in as a dispatcher or technician. An owner or admin must make plan changes.
  • A plan card's price says it is relinking to Stripe — the checkout price is being resynced; contact support to confirm the amount before upgrading.

FAQ

Where do I see my current plan?

Open Billing from the left sidebar. The Overview tab summarizes your subscription; the Platform tab shows every plan with your current one marked.

What is the difference between a platform plan and a phone plan?

The platform plan covers the software - seats, jobs, features, support. The phone plan covers voice and messaging - numbers, SMS, and call minutes. They are billed as separate line items on one subscription.

Do I need a phone plan?

Only if you want calling and texting beyond what your platform plan bundles. Some platform plans include bundled phone service; you can also start platform-only and add phone later.

What happens when my trial ends?

The Platform tab shows the days left in your free trial. Pick a plan and subscribe before it ends to keep access without interruption.

I'm on a custom package - can I switch to a public plan?

Custom-package accounts see a Contact support to change button instead of self-serve upgrade buttons, so you can't accidentally drop negotiated terms. Reach out to support to change packages.
