General settings: logo, business hours, notifications
Last updated: Aug 24, 2026
The General tab of Settings is where you set your company time zone, upload your logo, fill in your company profile, share your public booking link, set business hours, and control team alerts. Open Settings from the left sidebar — the page opens on the General tab. Most cards save independently, so you can change one thing without touching the rest.
Before you start
- You need an owner or admin login to edit most settings. The time zone and No-Reply Alerts are owner/admin only, even for dispatchers with a custom settings permission.
- The Settings page also has Job Settings, Roles & Permissions, AI Assistant, Route Optimization, Closings, and Public Site tabs — this article covers the General tab.
Step 1 — Set your company time zone
The Company Time Zone card sits at the top of the General tab. It drives booking dates, same-day rules, automation quiet hours, and tenant-local scheduling — every "today" in the app follows it, not the device clock.
- Pick a zone under Time zone — Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, or Hawaii.
- Click Save Time Zone. You'll see "Company time zone saved".
Until a zone is saved, the card shows a warning: "Set your company time zone before relying on booking availability or automation quiet hours." Set it before anything else.
Step 2 — Company profile and logo
Expand the Company Profile card:
- Company Logo — click Upload Logo (or Change Logo if one exists). Accepted: "PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP. Max 2MB." The logo appears on your public booking page and customer documents.
- Fill in Company Name, Phone, Email, and Address. The address matters: it's "Used to calculate the radius filter on the dashboard map." and powers the booking page's service-area check.
- Click Save Profile.
Step 3 — Business hours and after-hours message
Business hours live inside the Online Booking Rules card (expand it, then scroll to the Lead Agent — Tenant Truth section):
- Set the start and end times under Business hours.
- Optionally add an After-hours message (optional) — for example "After hours, leave a voicemail and we'll call back next business day."
- Click Save Booking Rules.
Both a start AND an end must be set for the AI lead agent to answer hours questions; left blank, the AI deflects instead of guessing. For call routing by open/closed hours, use a Business Hours node in a call flow.
Step 4 — No-Reply Alerts
The No-Reply Alerts card raises a red popup for your dispatchers when a teammate texts a customer (or another teammate) and no reply comes back in time. Automated messages — reviews, confirmations, reminders — never trigger it.
- Flip the toggle on (owner/admin only).
- Set Alert after (minutes) — 1 to 240. The clock starts at the last message you sent; any reply cancels the alert.
- Optionally expand Who receives these alerts to pick specific teammates, then click Save recipients (or Reset to default). Technicians receive the phone push only.
See no-reply alerts for the full behavior.
Step 5 — Alert recipients (texts and emails for every bell notification)
The Alert recipients card (owner/admin only) sends every bell notification — new reviews, signed documents, job alerts, billing notices — to any phone numbers and email addresses you add. Each message carries a link that opens the app on the right screen, already signed in when the destination belongs to a login on your account.
- Choose Phone number or Email, enter the destination, add an optional label, and click Add.
- Use the Alerts button on a row to choose which alert types go to that destination (all on by default).
- Use the send icon to fire a real test — you'll see "Test text sent" or "Test email sent".
See choose who gets notified for the full notification-routing picture.
Step 6 — Change your password
The Password card has a Change Password button. Enter your current password, then a new one (at least 8 characters), and confirm.
Troubleshooting
- "Logo must be under 2MB" — compress or resize the image and upload again.
- The time zone selector is disabled — you're not signed in as an owner or admin. Ask one to change it.
- "Minutes must be between 1 and 240" — the No-Reply Alert window only accepts 1–240 minutes.
- Your saved time zone shows as unsupported — it was saved before the current six-zone list. Pick one of the supported US zones and save again.
FAQ
Why can't I change the company time zone?
Only an owner or admin can change the company time zone. Dispatchers with settings access can edit the profile and job form rules, but not the time zone.
What image formats work for the company logo?
PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP, up to 2MB. Larger files are rejected with a 'Logo must be under 2MB' error.
Where do I set business hours?
Open Settings, expand Online Booking Rules, and scroll to the Business hours field. Set both a start and an end time, then press Save Booking Rules.
Who receives the No-Reply Alerts?
By default your owners, admins, and dispatchers. Expand Who receives these alerts to pick exactly which teammates get them - technicians can be included and receive the phone push only.
