Job Source vs Ad Source: the difference and why it matters

A Job Source is the brand or line a job came in on and drives texting, review links, and reports. An Ad Source only labels the marketing campaign behind a lead.

Create a Job Source and give it a color

Add a Job Source in Dispatch Bros: open Job Source in the sidebar, click Add Job Source, name it, pick a color, and save. The color labels every job from that source.

Assign a Sender Number to each job source

In Automations → Sender Numbers, give every job source a default outgoing phone number so texts for its jobs send from the right line instead of your primary number.

Set a Google review link per job source

Add each job source's Google review URL in Automations → Sender Numbers. Review requests and the smart feedback link send happy customers to that source's own listing.

Set a different Google review link for each phone number

Expand a job source in Automations → Sender Numbers to give every phone number its own Google review link — customers who called that line get routed to that listing.

Bulk import review links from a spreadsheet

Paste two columns — phone number and Google review link — from your sheet into the Import review links modal to set per-number review links for many lines at once.

How the Smart Link works: happy customers go to Google, unhappy ones go to a private form

The Smart Link opens a star-rating page. High ratings redirect straight to your Google review link; low ratings open a private feedback form only you see.

Print a Review QR card for technicians to show customers

The Review QR page turns each job source's smart link into a QR code you can show fullscreen on a phone, download as a PNG, or print as a hand-out card.

Track Ad Sources separately from Job Sources

Ad Sources label which marketing campaign or channel produced each lead — a reporting layer on top of Job Sources that never changes texting or review routing.

Why texts send from your primary number (fallback to primary)
