Brand invoices per job source (different business names)

If you run several brands or answer for several business names, each job source in Dispatch Bros can carry its own invoice identity — logo, business name, address, phone, the email documents send and reply from, plus its own tip preference and Zelle/Venmo/Cash App handles. You choose the brand per document with the Sending As dropdown, and the public page, email, and PDF all follow it.

Before you start

• Create your job sources first — see what a job source is and creating one.
• You need owner/admin (or settings edit) rights to edit identities.
• Set up your base "My Company" identity first (My Company settings) — it is what every blank field inherits.

Step 1 — Open the source's identity editor

1. Go to Invoices → Settings, tab My Company.
2. The brand switcher at the top ("Company identity for") lists My Company plus every active job source. Sources that already carry their own details show a small "custom" pill.
3. Click a source. Its own editor replaces the company form.

Step 2 — Turn on a custom identity

Flip the Custom identity for switch. Off, everything inherits My Company; on, the source uses its own logo and details on invoices, emails, and PDFs.

1. Upload the source's logo with Upload Logo (max 2MB, image files only). Without one, the box reads "Inherits My Company logo".
2. Fill only the fields that differ — Business Name, Phone, the email (labeled as what this source sends and replies from), Street Address, City, State, ZIP, and an optional privacy policy line. The editor explains: "Any field left blank inherits from My Company." — company values show as placeholders so you can see what will be inherited.
3. Click the per-source Save button at the bottom (it names the source). Each source saves independently of Save All.

Step 3 — Per-source tips and payment methods (optional)

Two settings work even while the identity stays inherited:

• Customer tips — a switch that forces the tip question on or off for documents sent from this source. "Use company default" clears the override.
• Payment methods — this source's own Zelle (email or phone), Venmo username, and Cash App cashtag. Blank inherits the company defaults; a filled handle makes that method appear on this source's public payment pages. Reported P2P payments always wait for your confirmation before counting as paid.

Step 4 — Use the brand on a document

On Create Invoice (and Create Estimate), the Sending As row sits under the letterhead. Picking a source instantly swaps the preview's logo, business details, and the From/Reply-To email. The choice is required whenever job sources exist — and when you link a job, the job's own source is pre-picked for you.

What your customer sees

Everything customer-facing follows the chosen brand: the email arrives from the source's business name and identity email, the public invoice page renders the source's logo and details, the PDF matches, and even the company signature line signs under the source's business name. The customer never sees your base company name unless that's the brand you picked.

Troubleshooting

• A new job source doesn't appear in the switcher — only active sources are listed; check the source is active on the Job Source page. The list also refreshes when you return to the tab.
• I edited one source and another source's details changed — they didn't: switching sources loads each source's own saved row. Make sure you pressed the per-source Save before switching away.
• Documents still show My Company details — the Custom identity for switch is off, or the fields are blank (blank inherits). Turn the switch on and fill the fields that should differ.
• The wrong brand went out on an invoice — the Sending As pick is per document. Open the invoice, correct it if still editable, and re-send; the last pick is only a suggestion next time, never auto-applied.
